Bunga kopi adalah paduan keindahan kantil dan melati. Pernah kau meminum air dari bunga kopi? Ya, rasanya seperti madu. Dulu, waktu aku masih kecil, aku sering sekali meminum air dari bunga kopi. Manis sekali. Setiap pagi saat musim kopi berbunga, maka semerbak wanginya akan merebak kemana-mana. Kau akan merasa seperti di taman firdaus. Kau ingin menari, minum sari bunga. Menari. Minum sari bunga. Menari lagi dan minum lagi. Tanpa jenuh.

Tapi sekarang Laras, kita tak menari lagi di kebun kopi milik ayahmu itu. Kita bahkan menari di tempat yang berbeda. Kau menarikan tubuh telanjangmu di bawah guyuran lampu kemerlap itu. Sementara aku menggoyangkan hati bimbangku, untung beat nya sama. Aku tahu, bukannya sok tahu. Senyum tebal dari bibir tipismu itu menipu. Sejak kau menyadari aku menatapimu dari sudut meja ini. Iya, aku terkejut. Sama seperti terkejutnya kau. Aku terkejut karena temanku benar, bahwa kau, Laras, adalah salah satu dari mereka. Perempuan penari telanjang. Kau mungkin lebih terkejut, ketika melihat aku tiba-tiba ada disini.

Dentuman musik masih memenuhi ruang dengarku, tawa riuh lelaki-lelaki di bawahmu sudah kumaklumi. Siapa pula yang tidak tergila melihat kau tanpa busana. Bahkan aku dulu sampai sanggup berjanji mati hanya untuk merasakan lekuk-lekuk di pinggangmu. Kulitmu halus bak pualam, putih mulus tak terperikan. Ku lihat beberapa lelaki bule turut menari tanpa irama. Sementara mereka memandangimu, matamu malah memandangi aku dan aku memandangi mereka. Mereka seperti melihat kambing guling yang siap disantap. Sama seperti ketika pertama kali aku menikmati tubuhmu di kebun kopi yang semerbak itu. Meski semerbak minuman keras di club ini memabukkan, tapi semerbak bunga kopi ternyata menghanyutkan.

Laras, aku pergi bukan untuk berlari. Hanya karena aku tertawan di negeri orang, kau jadi tidak percaya. Aku telah menikahimu, kau istriku. Maaf, aku tak tahu kalau adik-adikmu butuh uang untuk sekolah. Maaf kalau aku juga tak tahu kalau ayahmu telah jatuh sakit dan tak mampu bekerja. Dulu, waktu kau kirimi aku surat tentang terbakarnya ladang kopi ayahmu, aku biasa saja. Aku tidak menyangka, hilangnya bunga kopi akan menghilangkan semua harapan kalian. Tapi Laras, tak seharusnya kau menari tanpa bra.

“buka celanamu! Waktuku tak banyak. Show berikutnya tinggal 15 menit lagi”

Laras, aku memintamu ke kamar ini bukan untuk itu. Tapi kau malah membuka setelan jasku, merenggut dasiku. Melilitkannya ke leherku. Mencekikku. Untungnya sebelum aku kehabisan nafas, kau malah memelukku. Tangismu itu, membuka lagi harapanku.

“Ayo Laras, kita pulang. Aku baru saja membeli 2 hektar kebun kopi yang kini sedang berbunga. “Kau masih suka menari di kebun kopi?” Tanyaku. Kau hanya mengangguk di sela air matamu.

You've seen it. I've seen it.  All of that is the interwebs has seen it. Yes, I'm speaking of naked Japanese girls. But why? Why is a country full of people who love the idea of modesty producing over 10,000 adult videos a year filled with women so eager to get naked? In fact, with such contradiction, why do these women even choose to strip down at all? In the past, psychologist Takashi Tomita says that most women posed nude for money, but now it's all about the ego. And why not? If you're a young, hot, twenty-something, why not strut your stuff? Posing nude in photographs, adult videos, or even stripping has become a liberating experience for many women,, with one young woman remarking "I just happen to think my body is extraordinarily beautiful. I love it when men praise my nude body." Another woman explains "I wanted some beautiful nudes of myself while I'm still young.." I can't really argue with them. I say if it's empowering, go for it. However, I do question the line between "empowering self expression" and full-blown porn.   A nice self esteem boost isn't the only reason for posing nude though. One 40-year-old woman used it as a means for revenge against her cheating husband. Seems like a good plan to me, even if a little risqué. So what do you think? Is posing naked empowering for the women of Japan, or simply degrading because of how it's viewed? Does context matter? Is a tasteful nude photo better than being in an "adult video," or is it all the same?

Chinese netizens react with sarcastic comments regarding it as the result of a “harmonious” society while other netizens are shocked and ashamed, and still others point out that this is a common practice, so much so that young children appear to be attending the strip tease.

However, to the vast majority of these entertainment workers I implore: you are the much needed vast number of laborers , you need strong peasants to support you, you need to develop and not be scared of sacrificing yourselves. Don’t be afraid of bleeding in battle for it is a glorious Red Army tradition, and you should earnestly implement the army’s policy of “The enemy advances, I retreat; the enemy camps, I harass; the enemy retreats, I follow; the enemy is weary, I attack”. Miss USA, Rima Fakih, Hot Stripper Dancing Photos

I believe one of the prerequisites for beauty pageants contestants is to have a past filled with either topless photos, free basing while singing the national anthem or swimming in a kiddie pool of jello with Tiger Woods. Another “scandal” has erupted after Rima Fakih was crowned high priestess of hypocrisy Miss USA.

Rima won a pole dancing contest in 2007 that was hosted by Detroit radio show called Mojo in the Morning. Everyone has started clutching their pearls and gasping at Fakih’s stripper pole pics and shouting “SLUUUUUUUUT!” (I would like to point out that she was wearing far less in the bikini portion of the pageant. The promo photos for the pageant also feature her in lingerie and fishnet stockings, but wearing a tank top shorts while dancing around a pole is too trampy? Doesn’t Miley Cyrus do that ho-shiz at her shows?)

Most are pushing for an investigation that could further strip her of her crown. In fact most are claiming that she only won because of political correctness and the words “affirmative action” was thrown out. During the competition, she tripped over her dress and called birth control a controlled substance that insurance should pay for.
